- Eyes: Slanted purple eyes will seductively stare at you.
- Outfit: He is usually seen in a pair of black or white skinny jeans and a grey turtleneck under a white vest in the winter. He prefers to wear some black boots on his feet. When it is warmer, he would opt for a simple v-neck shirt.
- Ears: Oh,no, definitely lost his ears already.
- Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
- Personality: The first thing that one may notice upon coming into contact with him is that he is a BIG flirt. He will flirt with anyone anywhere, no matter how awkward or tense the atmosphere may be. Sexual innuendos will escape his lips without hesitation. He enjoys getting other flustered and even more, “hot and bothered”. The redder his victims’ faces becomes, the happier he is. Of course, this contributes to his teasing trait. If he isn’t flirting, he’s teasing. In addition, he won’t take “no” for an answer and will do everything in his power to get his victims to submit to him. In a way, this also means he can’t handle rejection very well. Furthermore, other than the orders from those above him, he doesn’t take things seriously.
There are rare moments when he gets mad or annoyed. During these times, it would be best to avoid him. It would seem that his personality takes an almost 180 degree turn for the worse, for he becomes sadistically scary. A cold persona emerges, one that does not hold room for mercy or forgiveness. His once joyful smile will become a scarier, foreboding smile that does not reach his eyes. Let it be said that he will not hesitate to kill if he deems it fit.
If there is one thing that should be avoided is that to never say or imply that he is weak. He vehemently hates being weak due to his past and the fact that if he is weak, it means he is not in control of himself or the situation. To put it simply, he is scared of being weak and will react badly once the accusation is placed.
In terms of intelligence, he is more or less average. A little more intelligent than the common citizen, but he had something else under his sleeves to make up for his book-smarts. He was more street-smart than book-smart. He couldn’t follow an elaborate scientific talk, but he can trick you of your money right under your nose.
In case he is in a sticky situation, he always has a back up plan, making him as slippery as an eel. He doesn’t get caught. End of story. It would take some intensive planning to get him captured. Probably, that’s what makes him capable of being the Void Chair’s Mendax.
What big flirt does not know how to woo someone’s heart through a special, awe-inspiring skill? In Ryouta’s case, he is able to play the violin well. Only when he’s playing does he at least seem “normal”. His flirtation and teasing does tune down a bit at least. In addition, he has an affinity for origami folding. - History: Ryouta’s life has not been an easy one. He grew up in an orphanage after his parents realized that they could not keep up with his medical bills. He was born with a weak immune system that was prone to any illness that plagued those around him, no matter how minor. A small cold for another person would become pneumonia for him and eventually, he would end up in a hospital again. In addition, there were many medications that he had to take in order to live a decently normal life. Eventually, his already financially poor parents were struggling to make ends meet and they had to give him up in hopes that he would get more financially stable parents to care for him.
Growing up in the orphanage was not easy. He was constantly teased and bullied for not being able to join in the physical activities that every boy his age was involved in. The owners of the orphanage didn’t want any more trouble with him than he already had. Making friends was not easy all because of his weakness, once again. In addition, no one wanted to adopt such a problematic child that would cause financial difficulties. He had felt that no one wanted him and he only wanted some affection and love from others.
There was this elderly man who volunteered there from time to time who played violin. The elderly man could sympathize with the young boy because he himself had a weak body through age. He brought his violin along with him during the visits. Sometimes, the man would teach Ryouta some things here and there. However, he was old and passed away when Ryouta was 13. The violin was given to Ryouta through his will. By then, Ryouta learned that “being weak was bad.”
As he aged, his health somewhat improved, but not entirely to that of a normal teen’s. Instead of waiting for affection, he began to pursue it instead, which explains his flirtatious nature. In school, he flirted with every guy and girl in his class. Sometimes, even the teacher. Eventually, this escalated to a different level and can be associated with the loss of his ears and tail. Even if it was false love, he didn’t mind as long as he was loved for a moment.
When he was 15, he met his Fighter and his true name, Tuneless, was forever engraved into the back of his right hand. During the course of the first two months, Ryou thought that he was finally happy. He was smitten with his Fighter, someone who was forever bound to him and his Fighter, at the time, seemed to love him as well. However, small changes popped up. It first started with some losses in spell battles but soon carried onto simple mistakes he made like dropping something in his hand. He was abused, mentally and physically, by his Fighter. His Fighter blamed him for being too weak to endure the spell battles, which cost them their win. His Fighter tortured him physically to “train him” so that he could withstand pain.
After two years, he was able to escape, but not without the mental scars and trauma. He knew that his Fighter was still out there somewhere ready to take him back. He ran to Transcendere Fatum and became the Void Chair’s Guardian. He believed that they held the answer in ridding him of the bond that connected him to his Fighter and would gladly serve the Void Chair if it would mean he was free and safe from his Fighter. - RP Sample: See Reita Suzuki’s app.
