It took a few minutes, but Kazuki had finally managed to dislodge his manager from his back. He grumbled lightly as he headed towards the kitchen to make an order, with the flamboyant man flouncing in behind him. "Good afternoon - this is Kazuki Arai, he's the assistant manager. If you have questions, just ask him!" After that, he meandered off towards his office to do...whatever he was actually supposed to be doing instead of harassing his assistant manager.

Kazuki blinked for a moment at the woman, getting an...interesting? vibe from the woman. Interesting was all he could manage to define it as. He didn't know why he was, though. He didn't even know who she was. He remained silent for a moment before speaking. "Good afternoon," he finally managed to speak before turning to the counter top to make a parfait for one of the tables.

Once he was finished making it, he took it out to the table that had ordered it. "Will there be anything else, my lady," he asked, tilting his head to the side cutely and with a smile. When he received a negative in response, he ventured back into the kitchen with the interestingly vibed woman. He knew her...but he didn't know her. Then again, he'd gotten that feeling with his Fighter unit...and he actually did know her because they shared a name. There was no way she shared the Resolution name because he already had his half...so what the hell was going on.

He blinked silently for several moments, trying to figure out what the hell was going on before shaking his head for a moment, trying to clear his mind. "Uhmn...forgive me for asking this...but do I know you?" he asked, running his purple-painted finger nails through his hair for a moment. "Oh...ah...like Tsukino-san said earlier, my name is Kazuki Arai."

Kazuki was definitely just a little bit confused and bewildered as he glanced between the now pale woman and...himself? another male who had burst into the kitchen, looking like he was getting ready to cry. Unlike Kazuki though, this one still had his ears and Kazuki was a little bit disappointed because he would have been cute had his ears still been intact instead of...gone.

The next moment, the woman had fainted and Kazuki let out a rather startled squeak at that. It didn't take long for the woman to come back to which was a good thing because any longer and Kazuki was going to call for help. He was now really even more confused though. /Kazuo?/ He looked like somebody had cloned him, attached ears to his head and made him a far more...crybabyish version of him. Kazuki wasn't one to cry usually...actually...never anymore. He had nothing to cry about anymore. He was away from his abusive father...while he worked two jobs and went to school which was stressful, it was still a nice thing to be free from the abusive nature of his father.

The next moment he was being hugged onto by his doppleganger and his leg being clung to with the boy crying. Kazuki colored a soft shade of red in his own embarrassment for a moment before he finally registered what he had babbled out. "B-b-b-brother?"

At this time, the manager had poked his head in to see what was going on and found an interesting sight to be behold. "There's two of them! Kazuki-chan, why didn't you tell me you had a brother," the bewildered look on Kazuki's face and then the nearly crying faces of the woman and the...Kazuki doppleganger made the manager blink and then shoo them towards the back room where the lockers and things were to change in and out of uniform were. "You three go...I dunno...it's like a drama show! Go talk. I'll deal with the customers," he stated before leaving the kitchen to take the waiting orders, practically already gossiping with some of the regulars.

Kazuki mechanically sat down in the back room, a soft bewildered frown on his face as he tried to take this all in. His head tilted to the side slightly as he ran his fingers through the hair that wasn't in a hair clip. "Dad was always whorish enough that having a sibling wouldn't have surprised me..." he stated quietly. "But a twin brother...is...wow. I don't even..." he glanced between Kazuo and now his mother, not sure of what to say to her in particular. Was there was a reason why he'd been left with his pedophile, rapist father? A legit reason? Kazuki had grown up believing that his mother, and being told, that his mother didn't want him. That he would have been a burden on her...but she clearly had taken his brother...why not him? He blinked back tears that were threatening to fall. No. He wasn't going to cry. He had stopped letting the tears fall a long time ago.

He wasn't at all surprised when his mother was suddenly really angry at the mention of his mother. His father hadn't kept it a secret what he'd done to her - and it wasn't that hard to guess after all the nights he'd been forced to share a bed with his father or even other men. Some of them had even been complete strangers who had given his father some money for him. Kazuki shook his head lightly, shoving those memories from his mind as he looked at the woman who was apparently his mother.

So that was how he had come into the custody of his father...the man had simply taken him. Part of him was angry that he was the one that was taken, but realized...then if it had been Kazuo - their roles might have been reversed...Kazuki was happy with how things had currently turned out...that he wouldn't change it for the world. "He told me a lot of things, mostly lies, if I ever asked about my mother," he laughed lightly, bitterly almost. "It didn't take long for me to know most of what he told me were always lies, but the ones about my mother...I believed them sometimes...I had no knowledge of whether or not he was right about you...but sometimes I couldn't help but be angry with you for not being there...but I see it's not your fault..." sighing slightly, he twirled a strand of hair with one of his fingers, trying to think of what else he was going to say. He wasn't about to tell them where his ears had gone...that would open a whole new bag of anger from his mother. Blinking back the tears that had wanted to fall, he lightly wiped one eye from the wetness.

Kazuki gave Kazuo a small smile at his next words. He hadn't known about Kazuo, but he supposed it was still nice to meet his twin. It was awkward, to say the least. This boy...even though he was his age, nineteen, he was still very much a child. The ears. The way he attacked. Would he have been like that if he'd been raised in a loving household instead of the abusive sex-filed one he had been? "It's nice to meet you...even though I didn't know about you until today," he stated. While he didn't want to anger either his mother or Kazuo about why he didn't have his ears...he couldn't help but tug at Kazuo's. "I definitely would have been cute if I still had these," he mused quietly to himself. After a moment, he put his hands behind his back, a soft dusting of red over his cheeks. "S-s-sorry..." From the way Kazuki's eyes had looked when he played with the ears, it was quite easy to tell what had happened to them. Sadness, longing for what had been lost. It wasn't his fault he didn't get to keep them like Kazuo had. "You should save those for somebody you think should have them," Kazuki murmured quietly.
