Tsuki let go a small yawn as he entered the locker room that afternoon. Behind him his fluffy blond cat tail flicked a bit. He was having a stressful day at school so, he needed a way to unwind.The blond fighter knew the pool had a nice high powered jet so, he deiced to visit it. After putting down his bag he stripped down to his blue swim trunks. Shortly after his clothes were off he stuffed his bag and them into his locker. After shutting and locking the rectangular cubical he headed for the pool room. To his relief he was the only one there so far. Once the pool boy left he made his way over to the jet in the deep end.

When he slipped into the water his kitty ears and tail twitched slightly. It would take a bit to dry out his tail later but, he didn't care today. The blond just wanted to enjoy the massage the jet gave off. After adjusting his position slightly he put his arms behind him. When the jet kicked on he let go a soft sigh of comfort. The jet was nice and the fighter wished he could say there forever but , he knew that wasn't possible. When the jet picked up and pushed soft circles into his back his tail flicked happily. The sudden movement of his tail caused small waves to float to the waters surface.

As footsteps were heard in the hallway Tsuki gently closed his eyes. He could feel himself getting kind of sleepy so, he let himself fall asleep. The young blond had a talent of falling asleep where ever he wanted. He could fall asleep in a pool or in a car or sitting up in a tree and a great deal of other places. When the jet pushed hard on his lower back he grunted a bit. The door of the pool room opened but, the golden eyed male remained asleep. He had heard the noise but, he just figured it was the pool boy coming back for the tools he left behind.

Autumn was on its way, so the gardens had to be kept in pristine condition. Being the wonderful gardener when it came to the school was probably his favorite part of being apart of the staff. Not one was he the gardener, he was also their school nurse. It was all to help him work his way through medical school. He was only in his second year at the moment, so he had a really long way to go until he was fully a doctor. He did, however, have enough qualifications to be a school medical practitioner. As a boarding school filled with teenagers and younger children, Haruki rarely had a moment where the infirmary didn't have a kid complaining of a stomach ache. He managed to get out of it sometimes - having taught his infirmary helpers how to handle the most simple of things. He kept a cellphone on for a reason - just in case there was something they couldn't handle. It made him feel like a real doctor sometime - even if it was still in medical school. He needed a break, although he would normally spend his time amongst the gardens, one of the other teachers had kindly pointed out they saw his Fighter headed towards the pool. In all honestly, Haruki had yet to meet his Fighter. He was always so busy with school and handling things at Septimal Moon that he'd never had the actual time to go see him...that, and he was rather shy when it came to actually meeting his other half. Some of the teachers found it funny that he was so nervous when it came to that... He felt bad...and sort of wanted to make up for it. Tail flicking back delicately, he headed towards the pool, bare feet lightly tapping against the floor. He opened the door and noticed the blond in the pool - he knew that was his Sacrifice. He hadn't met his Fighter yet, but they didn't mean he didn't keep a close eye on him. He squeaked quietly, feeling that he was waking him up. "I'll come back later if you're sleeping," he squeaked awkwardly. Tsuki wrinkled his nose slightly when the footsteps didnt go away. It was getting late so, he didnt under stand who would come at this time. He figured that most students were already heading to bed. Unless it was a teacher that entered the room to yell at him. The blond fighter's kitty ears pushed back slightly at that thought. Tsuki made a small noise and leaned his back slightly as the jet speed. " Man i hope not" he groaned to himself in a low tone. He was enjoying himself and he hoped a teacher wasn't her to ruin that. This jet felt so good and wanted to enjoy it a while longer.

As the footsteps stopped his tail flicked a couple times under the water. The sudden flicks of his tail caused some ripples to form in the water. A short second after his tail flicked he heard a small shy voice. The blond then opened one of his golden eyes to see a small boy. He didnt look like a teacher but , he hadn't seen him in any classes before either. Tsuki opened his other eye and stared at the boy. He felt some weird connection to the shy little boy standing before him. After a few minutes of thinking he remembered seeing this boy in the school garden a few times.

" No its fine kid im awake" he told the fellow blond with a small sigh. After speaking he looked forward again and stared into space. " If you wanna use the pool i dont give a crap. Don't let me stop you." He told the boy with some slight unattended harshness in his voice. When the jet picked up he held on the concrete. He had to resist making noises of pleasure in front of the boy. On his head his ears pushed back in annoyance. " Ah" he mused quietly as he let his eyes close again. It was quiet so, he wondered if the shy boy had ran out or if the boy had fainted. He really hoped the kid didnt faint because he wasnt in the mood to deal with that right now. He didnt want to ply doctor Tsukishima right now.

His ears drooped slightly, folding over on itself cutely. "Oh...I'm sorry..." he squeaked nervously, tail drooping steadily downward and tucking slightly in between his legs nervously. He had to be a proper Sacrifice! He had to be brave. Hey wait...he wasn't a kid! Haruki's cheeks puffed out cutely towards the blond as he sat on the edge of the pool, dipping his bare feet into the water, kicking them back and forth slightly through the water. "I'm not a kid! I'm twenty!" he stated, tail twitching back and forth. "I'm older than you are, Tsu-kun," he stated rather cutely before falling silent. Now what was he supposed to say? Announce that he was his Sacrifice or something? He kind of wanted the other to figure it out for himself, without having to be old...but he wasn't against telling him himself. Haruki's head tilted to the side cutely as the blond male let out a rather interesting sound. He had no clue what it was, but it sounded odd. He looked alright though, there wasn't anything wrong with him....was there? Inching closer to the him on the ledge of the pool until he was sitting next to him, his feet dangling in the pool next to Tsukishima, the purple-haired shota began poking and prodding at him, checking to make sure he was alright. "You're making odd noises, are you okay?" he asked innocently. Tsukishima heard the kid say he was sorry again but, he said nothing this time. This time he figured it meant he was leaving so, he let his golden eyes close. But he was wrong the other boy now sat at the edge of the pool. When he felt the movement from the boy kicking in the water he opened his golden eyes again. Tsuki gave the boy a look of confusion when the kid told him he was twenty. Tsuki was utterly lost because this guy didnt look a day passed fifteen at least. The blond then wondered if the guy had trouble getting in R rated movies or buying scratch tickets etc.

" Oh uh wow you look good for your age" was all he could think of to say in his confusion. The boy then told him he was older than him which was obvious. It was only by a 1 year or two though. The blond then realized the guy new his name because he had called him a nickname. How did a guy he never talked to before know his name he wondered. " How you know my name?" he asked with his eyes narrowed slightly. When the boy began poking him he felt a odd vibe coming from the purple haired boy.

The shota then asked him about the noises he was making early. Tsukishima swore in his thoughts at this as a small pink brushed his cheeks." Im fine are you a doctor or something? Cant a guy enjoy a nice massage." He growled in a defensive tone as his yellow kitty ears pushed back against his head. Under the water his matching yellow kitty tail wagged a few times. The fighter then wrinkled nose and rubbed his cheek a bit. It was failed attempt to brush away the blush that was briefly on his cheeks.

How was he supposed to just come out and tell him that he was his Sacrifice? Would they even get along together or would they just be one of those units that hated each other? Well, a one-sided hate at least...Haruki didn't have room in him to hate anybody. While the murderers of his family had never been caught, he'd forgiven them along time ago...deciding that it wouldn't do him any good to keep latched onto a single-minded revenge spree. While he was hopeful they would turn up...he'd already forgiven them...at least somewhat. There had to be a reason why they did it, right? Tsukishima asked him how he knew his name and Haruki's head tilted to the side slightly as he thought about an answer to that question. Well, he was staff there. That should be reason enough for knowing his name...but the nickname? Well, he kind of enjoyed giving people nicknames sometimes. "Well~ I'm staff here, I should know the names of the students," Haruki stated, puffing his cheeks out cutely. "And I like giving people nicknames." He stated rather brightly as he quit poking at Tsuki, relieved that his Fighter was alright. His...unknowing Fighter, that is. Leaving his feet dangling in the water rather than climbing in - he couldn't reach the bottom of the deep-end of the pool so that prospect frightened him. He preferred sitting in the shallow end of a pool where he could touch the bottom without his head going under the water. He smiled at Tsuki, then nodded his head. "Yes. Second year medical student. And the school nurse here and gardener." ...Wait a second...he answered a rhetorical question. Good job, Haruki. Well...things like sarcasm and rhetorics were really lost to Haruki...so honestly, he had the innocence of a child and the appearance of one. His height labeled him at maybe...ten for age? Definitely a shota. Glancing towards Tsuki again, Haruki's head tilted to the side. "You haven't noticed yet, have you?" he questioned, referring to the fact that his Sacrifice was sitting right next to him and he hadn't noticed. Haruki's ears were drooping cutely and steadily at that fact. He was going to have to tell him, wasn't he? He wanted the younger to figure it out for himself too. Tsuki blinked at the boy when he told him he was staff at the school. The blond was surprised that the boy had gotten the job. If the fighter was the principal there was no way he would believe the boy was the age he said he was. He would be like yeah right and im the king of hearts next. " Oh" was the only word that came out of the blond teen's mouth. They small boy then told him he liked to give nicknames." Uh cute but , Tsuki is fine" he said in a calmer tone as his tail flicked once.

Did he just answer a rhetorical question the blond asked himself." That was a rhetorical question but , really i never seen you in the infirmary before." He said looking kinda of confused before his tail flicked again. His golden eyes then went to a bright red leave floating in the water. The blond made a face at it and his yellow kitty ears pushed back against his head. After his kitty ears had straighten his reached and picked up the leave. He then rolled his eyes slightly before throwing the leaf behind him. Sadly, the leaf had other plans and it landed on his kitty ear. " WHAT the.." he growled as his kitty ears gave a jerk. When his kitty ears pushed the leaf fell off." Gah stupid thing" he mumbled before rubbing the bottom of his nose for a few short seconds.

When the boy spoke to him again he looked him with a confused look." Noticed what.." he asked as he watched kid's kitty ears push back. In his mind he could't help but , find the fluffy purple ears cute. He wanted to touch one but , that would come off odd. Then he felt that feeling again and it frustrated him. He did know how that boy was giving off a odd vibe." Im getting a weird vibe if thats what your talking about" he growled slightly as he shifted his shoulder a few times in discomfort. After moving his shoulders once more he leaned back against the wall again.

He was staff there. Just because he was tiny, didn't mean he was a child. Haruki's cheeks puffed out cutely as he fished around for something - a student ID card from his university and hs showed it to Tsuki. "See? I'm 20, and a medical student. I'm qualified. "Most of what is dealt with in the infirmary is stomach aches anyway." Well, stomach aches and sometimes the morning after pill for some of the girls. However, they usually came to him personally rather than to the infirmary... Haruki sighed, scratching the back of his ears as he picked up the leaf that was harassing his unknowing Fighter. Lightly scolding the tree leaf, Haruki then looked at Tsukishima, deciding to walk him through it until he hopefully thought of it himself. And Tsuki thought he wasa little bit odd? Haruki's tail flicked back and forth gently as he began speaking again in a gentle and quiet tone of voice. "We're in a school for Fighter units and Sacrifices," he said, putting slightly emphasis on 'Sacrifice.' "You are a Fighter unit...what do you still need to complete your unit - Melancholy?" Haruki's arms were suddenly wrapped around Tsuki's neck and shoulders in a make-shift hug - it was hard to hug somebody in a pool. "I'm your Sacrifice for Melancholy, silly!" he giggled suddenly, getting tired of trying to walk him through it. The small boy then went on to explain proof of his age to him. Tsuki looked to him slightly and saw he was holding out an id card. The blond fighter squinted at it for a few seconds. " Would you look at that. Sorry for not believing yuh kid." he replied before looking to a bird that had landed on the water's surface. The brown little bird chirped happily as it ducked its head in the water to drink it. Is that bird stupid the blond thought to himself. There was chemicals in the water so, the blond teen was pretty sure the bird would die. When the bird flew off he looked back at the little sacrifice , who began explaining what kind of school they went to.

" Yeah I know that i'm not that thick" he growled slightly as his yellow kitty ears pushed back against his head. " Yeah im a fighter and i need a sacrifice so what" the blond one said in an annoyed tone. He didn't like how they boy was talking to him like he was stupid and it was clear in his voice. When the small adult's arms went around his neck he blinked a few times. Under the water his yellow kitty tail flicked a couple times in happiness. When the small boy said he was his sacrifice he looked at him slightly. He was silent as he back felt a little warm. " Melancholy... you mean the random word on my back" he began in a calmer tone. He had found his sacrifice and didn't know what to say.

To be honest he had kind of given up on finding sacrifice for various reasons. One reason was that he didnt think he could protect the other person in a spell battle. He was never good at poetry so, he didnt think he could come up with any spells." Um so you are.. um do you know what our word means then?" he asked curiously because he had no clue what the heck it meant. In spell class his teacher always told him to use his word in the spell and tailor it to it. Tsukishima had no clue what the word even meant or even what it had to do with him. Therefore , he was sorta failing that class right now.

It was so cute! Leaning over to the edge of the pool, the purple haired boy made a shooing motion at the bird, trying to get it to go away before drinking the water. He wasn't sure if he was successful when the bird flew off..."Poor bird," Haruki lamented slightly, suddenly wishing he was studying veterinary medicine...maybe he would after his medical degree... He finally got it! Haruki was ecstatic. He practically squeaked in delight, tail wagging back and forth as he released Tsuki from his grasp, giggling slightly. "I know what it means...you could have used a dictionary, silly," Haruki said, wagging his finger at Tsukishima rather cutely. He was standing up, now moving back to where he had been sitting before his arms had made their way around Tsukishima's neck. His feet hit a wet spot on the pool floor and he let out an awkward squeak at the sensation of his foot slipping across the floor. Rather than falling on his butt or anything, Haruki tumbled backwards into the pool with a second cute squeak as the cold water hit him. It took a few seconds, but Haruki finally surfaced. Every few seconds he would sink under the water and then use his foot to hop up off the pool floor to surface. Curses. The one time he hated being short. After a few moments, he dog paddled rather cutely to the edge of the pool next to Tsuki and hooked his arms on the pool edge, kicking his feet to float in the water. "Aww...I fell in...it's cold," he stated, pouting slightly as he then moved over to Tsukishima, awkwardly latching onto him. "I don't tread water well..." he admitted, letting the color of red blush over his cheeks. "S-sorry...uh...where was I? Melancholy...it means kind of sad and gloomy - I don't see how it fits me...I'm not sad and gloomy!" He puffed his cheeks out slightly, pouting over the fact his name didn't seem to fit him. His tail swept across the water as he lightly clung onto Tsukishima. b]"I'm really glad I finally got to meet you, Tsu-kun,"/b] Haruki admitted cutely with a closed-eye smile towards the blonde. " It will probably die after drinking that" he stated bluntly when the sacrifice mentioned the bird. A small noise signaled that the bird had flown into the closed window. Tsukishima's slender eyebrow and yellow kitty ears twitched at the sudden noise. Was the bird drunk on the pool chemicals he wondered as the bird flew toward the doors of the room. The blond fighter made a face when small boy told him to use a dictionary. " Ugh i hate those things. I don't feel like looking threw it for hours." He complained in a low growl as his yellow kitty ears pushed back against his head in annoyance.

When the boy fell into the water his ears perked and his eyes widened. He was about to swim over to the boy but , the kid was able to swim over to him. Tsuki blinked at the boy as he latched on to him. " Looks like yah did fine to me" he informed the boy in a calm tone when the boy told him he didn't tread water well. In Tsuki's opinion the boy would of drown if he didn't tread water well. But , he didn't so the blond fighter figured he had a good enough handle on it. The blonde fighter himself was a good swimmer so, he didn't have to worry about falling into the pool.

Tsukishima looked confused when the boy told him what their name really meant. He was quiet for a moment as he tried to figured it out." Hm i guess i can come off like that sometimes. You must have some of it in you seeing that your my partner." He rambled a bit as his tail rubbed against the sacrifices leg without his knowledge. Tsukishima smiled warmly when the boy told him that he was glad that they had met. " Sure no problem. Im kinda glad too. I was beginning to think that i didn't have a sacrifice or something" he went on as he reached and ruffled the boys hair a bit. As he did so his tail flicked a few times in happiness under the blue water.

It took it a few tries, but eventually it found the open window and fluttered out. There was a small chance of it living, maybe if it diluted the chemicals in its body enough to live...or maybe it hadn't drank enough to do damage to it? He hoped that that was the case. "I doubt the bird drank enough of that water to do much damage...and since the pool hasn't been cleaned yet...the chlorine in it is kind of diluted at the moment..." Haruki stated, noting that the chlorine taste in the water was less than it would have been had the pool just been cleaned. "Well...it's weird 'cuz my feet don't hit the bottom of the pool..." Haruki admitted quietly, one of the few times he regretted being short. "I tend to stay on the more shallow end because of that. Not used to being in the deep end. I won't go into water that's past my neck..." he stated, not wanting to let go of Tsuki for fear of sinking into the water. Tsuki was lucky, he was kind of tall enough to a point where he could go anywhere in a pool. "Everybody has a Sacrifice, unless you're a mundane - but you have a name, so you're not." Haruki stated, his head tilting to the side. "Sometimes it's hard to find them though...the world's reeeaaally big and a lot of things could happen...I'm sorry that I didn't come find you sooner..." he stated probably the most pessimistic thing he'd ever said, now rather hugging Tsuki over clinging to him. He felt bad now that Tsuki had almost started to believe that he hadn't even had a sacrifice at all. egiggled, slightly ticklish as Tsuki's tail brushed against him, his own tail batting at Tsuki's cutely. "Your tail seems to like me, Tsu-kun," he stated, as he released Tsuki from his clinging death-hug and clung onto the sides of the pool instead, awkwardly and somehow still very cutely pulling himself out of the water and back onto the dry ground. After the boy released the bird he heard allot of tweeting outside in a tree near the open window. Tsuki half listened to the boy's mini lecture about the bird that was in the pool. " I hope your right" he finally said as he titled his head back for a moment to look at the window. He saw something fall from tree the but , he didn't mention it to the small sacrifice. When the purple haired boy began to talk about the pool and his height his eyes returned to him." Don't worry i got it you. I won't let you drown." he assured the older male with a warm slime on his lips as his tail gave a small flick.

" True" he commented simply when the sacrifice said everyone had a sacrifice and mentioned mundanes and how he wasn't one. The blond fighter knew that much. After the boy apologized for not finding him sooner he found himself being hugged by the sacrifice. Tsukishima was surprised a bit but , he hugged the boy back gently. " Really its alright im not mad. You would have to do more than that to piss me off." the blond fighter told the boy after letting go of him. Tsuki made a noise and blushed faintly when the boy mentioned that his tail liked him. His eyes then went to water where he saw the tail's outline near the boy's leg.

Tsuki made another annoyed noise and reached into the water and grabbed it. " Stupid pervy thing" he growled at as the sacrifice climbed out of the pool. When the small sacrifice was completely out of the water he let his tail fall back into the water. After his tail was out of his grip he noticed his fingers were getting a little pruney. He made a face at that before pulling himself out of the water. He remained on the edge with his feet in the water after getting out. His golden eyes they looked back to the awkward little sacrifice. When his tail began to move he put his hand on it to prevent bit from getting any bright ideas. On the top of his head his yellow kitty ears twitched a few times. From the open window a light breeze and small bird song was let in.

After a few moments he looked away from the boy and looked forward. " So..." he cut off because he had no clue what to say right now.
