It was pleasant to listen to considering the holiday. He'd never been so excited for Christmas before...besides that first one he'd spent with Alessandro, Celino, and Lanza. While the family had picked him up shortly before Christmas, he hadn't warmed up to them quickly enough to truly be able to spend it with them that first year, but the year after they'd picked him up...he'd been able to somewhat enjoy it - not that he hadn't liked the fact that they'd gotten him a new plush toy as well as Alessandro repairing his torn and dirty stuffed giraffe toy. Sheeka's tail flicked back and forth happily as he watched the jewelry store place his purchases in a nice velvet box. While he had already paid for it, they had wondered where the money came from to pay for it from such a small child - or what they assumed to be a child more likely. Well, as long as he paid...it wasn't their problem. The child didn't look like he'd be a counterfeiter, after all. He was too cute for that. The jeweler didn't fancy himself a pedophile, but he was honestly really adorable. "Will that be all?" he finally ventured to ask, the jewelers cynical mind hoping that this boy's girl wasn't a gold digger. He seemed the type to have a cute girlfriend, though. So...it wasn't really a problem...unless it was a problem. Whatever. He shouldn't mind his customers lives just as long as he got customers. "Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year the, sir." As Sheeka departed from the jewelers, he glanced at the time as he slipped into the passenger's seat of a car, glancing towards the driver of the car. It was one of the chauffeurs and bodyguard, a silent and rather stoic man in his late forties. "E 'che tutto, giovane maestro?" the dark haired man questioned from behind his glasses in Italian. Receiving the go-ahead from him, the man began driving towards his next destination. It didn't taken long for them to arrive and Sheeka left the car, knocking lightly on the door to Shiru's home, tail wagging about happily as he tried to calm himself down to a normal extent. "Merry Christmas~!" He chirped pleasantly. [/style]

She didn't even need to open the door to know who it was. She had made plans with her Fighter, Sheeka, after all and she had been expecting him. Once she reached the door, she slipped on her shoes, took a deep breath to calm herself, took a second to make sure her hair ribbon was alright, and then opened the door. "Shee-kun! Merry Christmas!" she greeted, stepping forward to give her Fighter a warm hug. They had been together as a unit for a few months, and she was starting to definitely relax around the boy, now. After a few moments, she pulled back, smiling a little bit shyly as she turned, called out to her family that she was going, and shut the door. This was going to be a new experience for her. She had always spent Christmas with her family, but this year, it was with Sheeka, her Fighter. There was absolutely no reason not to, after all. She liked him, and this was their first Christmas, so they needed to spend it together, no matter what. "So... um... Where will we be going today, Shee-kun?" she asked politely, obviously still a bit nervous. However, she managed a smile at least, showing that, despite her nerves, she really wanted this, and she wanted to have a good time. This was an important day, after all.

Over the few months he had known his Sacrifice, he had grown quite close to the girl. At some point during that time, Shiru had found out about the Riva mafia family and about how he and his elder adoptive sister were supposed to take it over one day. While he initially had been wary of her reaction to that revelation, he was pleased that she seemed to take it fairly well. He wondered if her family would take it so well if they ever found out? Sheeka opened the back seat door for Shiru, like any gentleman would before getting in as well from the other side. "Ah...I thought we'd go ice skating?" Sheeka stated lightly, letting a soft dusting of red cross over his cheeks. It was Christmas, so he doubted there would be many people at the ice skating rink. They'd pretty much have it to themselves. Sheeka smiled lightly towards his Sacrifice, his hand lightly creeping across the interior of the car and finding Shiru's hand. It didn't taken long for them to arrive at the skating rink and like Sheeka had predicted, there were only a few people there. Sheeka, of course, paid for the both of them and got them their skates. Their driver smiled slightly from the car knowingly at the two before settling in to keep an eye on the two of them. And maybe nap. Sheeka wasn't the world's greatest skater, especially on ice, but he was well coordinated and could at least remain on his feet on the ice without falling and slide easily across the ice, holding lightly onto Shiru's hand so she shouldn't fall herself. "I'm glad you decided to spend Christmas with me. I hope your family wasn't too disappointed about it?" the boy asked with a smile. [/style]

Well, that sounds fun and festive," the girl mused aloud as Sheeka guided her to the car. Truth be told, she was feeling rather excited about this date, and had since he asked her to join him for Christmas in the first place, but she hadn't been skating in a while, and almost worried that she would be a little rusty. Then she couldn't help but wonder. "Are you a good skater, Shee-kun?" she asked, looking at him in wonder as she gently squeezed his hand, having felt his grab onto hers. Before long, they had arrived at their destination and he helped her up and out of the car. After he paid for their skates, she pulled them onto her feet and joined him on the ice, taking his hand as she glided across the ice. It had been a long while since she had last skated, so she was a little wobbly, but at least she didn't fall down. "It's been a while so... I hope I don't hold you back, Shee-kun..." she murmured, her cheeks flushing red with embarrassment as she wobbled a bit once more. She needed to get her balance back. The last thing she wanted to do was drag him down with her if she fell, after all.
