[cs=2] The golden sunlight peeked through the openings of the curtains, causing shadows on the walls of the room to mirror the flowery designs of the curtains. Aoi opened his golden eyes and began to gaze at the morning gold that had woke him up, a small smile spreading across his face as he sat up in the bed. He stretched a little before stepping out of his bed, pulling the pink blanket back into place before turning around and walking towards his closet. He quietly opened the closet door, peering inside as he looked at his choices. He searched through the clothes until he pulled out a pair of shorts, a green shirt, and a pair of underwear for the day. Most of these choices had belonged to his sister when she was his age, and luckily she was as petite as he is when she was his age. He didn't mind having girl clothes in his wardrobe, and that was clear from the amount of feminine things in his room. As he shed off his pajamas and put on his clothes for the day, he thought of what he would do for the day. Should he go for a visit to the park? Visit some friends? He picked up the pajamas and walked over to his door, and placed them into the basket beside the door. He walked out of the room carefully, and closed the door behind him silently. Being extra careful not to wake up his mother as he stepped into the kitchen and leave her an obvious note before he left the apartment for the day. It was surprisingly warm for a morning, which caused Aoi to leave his jacket at home. With his hands in his pockets, he walked down the street as he pondered where he would go. He stopped at the end of the street, and brushed his long light brown hair from his face and began to walk towards a set of stores, whom he knew the owners really well. Aoi tended to do volunteer work for these stores, from things to suggesting items to customers or handing out flyers. Aoi did all of them for free, despite them wanting to pay him for his help. It was these types of things that put a smile on his face, and he hoped his smile would make others smile. He approached the small row of stores and stepped into one of them, walking up to the front of the store until the eyes of the owner met his. "Oh! Aoi-chan, what are you doing here so early in the morning?" the owner, Sakura, asked Aoi as he walked up to her. "I'm here to help today, Auntie Sakura!" Aoi responded. She smiled and gestured to the back of the store and Aoi walked towards the back. She walked into a small room in the back and walked out with a small box and placed it on the counter. Aoi's eyes lit up as he looked at the box, "Am I going to wear the costume today?" He asked excitedly as he looked through the box, already answering his question as the owner nodded. He smiled and went into the small room, closing the door behind him. He got dressed in a small duck outfit, the sort of costume found commonly on a Mascot. He smiled as he looked into the mirror in the small room, looking at the body of the costume which consisted of a duck body, yellow in color and wearing blue overalls. He placed the mask on his head, which had a small opening so others could see his face. He walked out of the small room, the costume making his small petite size slightly bigger. The owner smiled and handed Aoi a stack of flyers and Aoi looked at them. "You look quite adorable in that costume, as usual. Come back in when you need another stack of papers, okay?" The owner said as she returned to the cash register, Aoi nodded and held up thumbs up as he walked out of the store and into the busy streets of Shibuya, making sure he was within the general area of the store as he started to hand out flyers. "25% off on all bathroom products!" Aoi began to chant with a bright smile as he looked into the eyes of those who passed by, making sure they had the catch to grab a flyer as they passed. His stack of papers beginning to dwindle. | |
