"Ugh..." she grunted as she slowly reached up and turned off the water. Fighting off her nausea, she straightened herself and walked out of the bathroom, heading down to a park bench that was conveniently located not far away. Once she was at the bench, she sat down and, with a small sigh, began to wonder what in the world she was going to do. It had been at the back of her mind for a while. Something wasn't right. Her cycles were normally like clockwork, but for some reason, it just didn't come. Of course, it was the natural thing to suspect this, considering the fact she had been quite active with Zar over the last while, but they were always careful, weren't they? There was always some form of protection involved. So, it just couldn't be that, could it? Well, that morning, she woke up to feeling quite a bit ill, so she decided to just bite the bullet and called in to work for the first time in a very long time and made herself an appointment with the doctor that afternoon. After a few tests, all suspicions had been confirmed; she was pregnant. But, before she could tell Zar, she had a number of things to consider and think about. To be honest, telling him almost scared her. She didn't know if he wanted to have a baby, and so soon after they had gotten together, at that. Then there was the matter of her job. It wasn't often that models like her could return to the same sort of work after having a baby. But still, it was Zar's, and part of her almost liked the idea for that sole reason. She sat there, pondering in silence before she fished out her phone and stared at it. She knew she had to talk to him, but how would she say it? How would he take it? 'Zar... Are you even ready for this? ...Am I ready for this?' she thought, flicking her phone closed with a sigh. She couldn't call him. But maybe she could talk to him if she went to him. Let's see... It was still a little early, but if she caught the bus now, she might be able to catch him after school. It was worth a shot. One agonizingly nauseous bus ride later, she had arrived at the presigious Septimal Moon Academy, the very school she had graduated from in the spring, and she walked straight on through. Being a Fighter, as well as the Fighter of a teacher had its perks, sometimes. Before long, she had reached the staff lounge, where all the teachers had their respective desks when not teaching. There were sounds of people inside, which was promising. After taking a deep breath to calm herself, and settle her nausea, which was fading a little, she lifted her hand to knock on the door before sliding it open a bit. "Excuse me~! Is Za--Honabu-sensei around? I need to talk to him," she asked, trying her best to smile politely and give off the air that nothing whatsoever was wrong. They may have a bit of a crisis on their hands right now, but the entire school didn't need to know about it. Well, for the time being, at least.[/style] |
